Quality ok - prices are not. In advance: Anyone who thinks of the Frankfurter Hof and the Autorenbar here at Steigenberger should rethink quickly. The cocktails are probably the best in Lörrach. Where you should use a small scale here. The cocktails on the menu are solid, but not surprising - relatively low in alcohol and lots of filler. And at the same time prices are calculated, which are paid in other cities in award-winning bars. But you also get quality delivered there. And one should still think now, one would be in a solid hotel bar, so be it: One could not make me Old Fashioned (!), Because this is not on the map. This is probably the saddest statement that you can hear in an upscale hotel bar. - So here's a suggestion for this great cocktail: 6 cl bourbon / Scotch / Rye whiskey 1 cl sugar syrup 3 splashes Angostura Bitters 1 orange zest

Watch out

Sooooo. They close at midnight. I was trying to get something to eat, a small plate. Bar tender refused to serve me food, just alcohol. Now everything else nearby is closed. Not to mention that they try to give the appearance of a fancy place but pour the most popular beer from a bottle into a glass.

The prices are absurd and the portions a joke.

Great atmosphere, the smoking lounge is very good as is the selection of cigars. A good service rounds off the visits, I will stop by Tuesday and Wednesday.
